by readin this it makes me laugh... obviously you really dont watch the lakers play @ all & you just read stats... lol,, first of all kobe had no choice to take those points in that game cuz the whole team was lacking energy and defence except kobe.. kobe tryed so hard to get everyone envolved but no-one stepped up and helped!! this game here was the first time kobe had a very high score eversince before the all star game probably longer than that!!as far as cp3 and garnett being scoring leaders,,, hahahahahahahaha,,, thats funny cuz garnett had that chance and failed in minnisota!! what was he the CENTER PIECE as in their FRANCHISE PLAYER meaning score to WIN,, did he?? yeah won a couple of games? but did he win the scorin title? no,,FAILED!! MVP??once again,, nope,, FAILED!! palyoffs?? lol,, not even close!! now cp3 turn,, WE WILL SEE??
for the MOST PART my laker team,, L.O was under the weather and played lil of minutes... our point guard fish ia also injured but is a solid player and knows this is crunch time.. but is HURT!! all we have is our bench right now... FYI lakers are a GREAT team without KOBE... look @ our LINEUP without him... think about it( exactly )!!! the only reason why were so much BETTER is cause of KOBE... get it!!! i hope so!! kobe brings the LAKERs to a WHOLE new LEVEL... as he would do the same for any team thats already good.... adding kobe is a WHOLE NEW LEVEL!!!

OHHH,,, about earning spots!!! kobe definitly had to earn his spot!!! listenin to you talk you seem to know alot about the N.B.A!! you should be a ANALYST... CP3's first year, n.o traded a couple people and threw him in!!

it took kobe 2-3 years to get experience and LEADERSHIP in the league because he came straight out of high school... oh and did you forget L.A wasnt his first TEAM!! it was the real HORNETS!!!!(CHARLOTTE)

and you know how he got that experience was,, 1min here and 2min here...
and to even blow it out of more porportion first 18y.o to play in the nba!! we all knew he can play but it takes time for an individual to develope.. as far as airballs what are you refering too,, what game? alot of airballs in a season??

did you forget about our up and comin center in BYNUM... he got injured.. and we needed help so we got gasol... and oh yes he impacted the lake show big time.. now when we got bynum and gasol in the paint... call CP3 and tell him to come in for a layup and see what happens...
and we were doin great without gasol and bynum... were just losin cuz were anticipating there comeback which is this comin up week!!!

nothin strange about losing... its just how the game goes sometimes... especially when every team in the league is goin after you because your known as the,, team to beat!! now why do they label such a team like the

I watch them (Pistons) every game, have for years, they are one of those teams that come around every so often, that can beat ANY team in the league if they want to and are motivated, the question is...are they? I hope they are but unfortunately since the are so good, they lose interest often, even in the playoffs. But if they are motivated they can and will beat anybody in the NBA.

Celtics all the way. They swept the Texas triangle, they've beat all the top teams, they only have 15 losses so far this season. BEST RECORD IN THE NBA!!!!

Kobe has rings, but none without the guy who's considered to be the greatest, most dominant big man to ever play the game. He has none as the "#1 guy". Don't forget, before they started making all their moves, the Laker's were one of the worst teams in their conference, while Shaq took Miami to a title. As were the Celtics, until KG showed up. The Celtics are by far the best team in the league, and lead EVERY major defensive category. That ALL revolves around KG. Yeah, he has people around him, but so do the other candidates. Chris Paul is simply amazing, and I wouldn't be upset one bit if he won it. Simply put, there is no more complete player in the game as KG. Period. That will all show when they win the championship. I agree about LeBron, he's full of himself. And there is NO successor to MJ, sorry.

I don't understand how you can be so quick in these threads (the other one also) to point out all the help around Kobe Bryant, and how he isn't deserving of the MVP because of it. But then out of the other side of your mouth you say that KG should be the MVP? He has Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen, and now Sam Cassel! He arguably has the most proven help of any team! And you talk about what the Lakers were like without the other guys, what were the T-Wolves like last year! Unless KG has other big names, and guys with the guts to take the big shots and lead so he doesn't have to, he is just a stat line. You use the same argument against Kobe that you use to hold up KG.
