I have killed some roaches myself...not all were living at the time ... but imo..there is a decided difference between animals that are mainstream pets and kitchen crawling pests that spread disease

I doubt if there is an aquarium fish that is more intelligent than an elephant but the issue here is cruelty to animals.I'm not aware of the penal code as it pertains to animal cruelty or if it is broken down to specific types or groups of animals.

WHY does that matter?........ you think maybe EINSTEIN has a lower pain threashhold than DENNIS RODMAN? AND if so does it make it worse to hurt him? see your flaw?

I think these guys deserve jail time or a mental hospital would probably be better and some sort of counseling. People that hurt/kill animals just for fun will probably move to people one day.

It sounds like you are placing the lives of one group of animals over another...and because they are from Walmart?..I understand that you don't condone what they have done.I wouldn't be opposed to them sitting in jail for at least a year,heck,a shoplifter can look forward to that much time in this city if he can't make bail lol.

that's exactly what I'm doing. placing the lives of one group over another. like I said, they need to be punished, that's not up for debate. but the severity of the punishment is what I disagreed with. I don't think they deserve "a few years" in jail. I can see one year depending on their criminal records. if they are both clean then I think any jail time isn't necessary.

but make no mistake, I put some animal lives over others. I strongly disagree with any who disagree, lol.

the only flaw I see is people putting all life forms on the same level
