Look around...a few members here breed, sell, and ship their rays.

Thank you,kid...for being more specific than I was.

I would focus on understanding and reading on fish. It sounds like you are a noob at species, Id hate to see you build such a large enclosure and everything goes south overnight.

Do you know about filtration? Have you thought about what options you have? Heating?

Sorry, I just get the feeling you don't really know what you are doing.

I have been researching for this tank/fish for about 2 months. I don't know if I want to build sump or use a pool-type filter yet but know I will probably do 10x turnover. I don't know about heating because I don't want it to fail on me and fry the fish but will probably use heating. I wanted to figure out the stock so I could build the tank around that.

I would figure out the tank then the most important part of a tank, the engine that runs it... the filter setup. Tropical fish are all pretty close with the exception of a few species when it comes to water chemistry.

There are pros and cons to each style of filter system but the majority of people lean toward Sumps.

G/L and welcome to MFK. Do post pics as you start the build :)
