Tank dimensions isn't as much of an issue for rays as water quality. If you are going to keep one of the larger growing rays (All the common ones.) you will want a tank of atleast 240 gallons just for dilution purposes.yogurt_21;3396835; said:wow I have to say i really liek the tank dimentions, no turning around issues and perfect for rays.
Dont worry about adding the braces they arent necessary unless youre worried about the safety factor. I built a 90 gal rimless tank that isnt as deep as your tank but it is slight longer and 4 taller with ½ glass for the sides. I have also seen other professionally built 120 gal rimless tanks that used ½ for the sides.VOYTEK;3392036;3392036 said:I still may add some kind of braces on top ... I would not want to silicone a strip or glass tru the middle though ... if anything I will cut 4 little triangles and silicone them on the top of the corners ...
Tank isn't very high I doubt that the glass that I used will be not enough ! Jesus it's 5/8 ! what should I use 1 inch ?![]()
Thanks and wish me good luck I'm far from done,
