update time... kind of a boring day but i got about 10 coats of drylock on today.used about three quarters of a gallon.i woulda used it all but i had to work.so tommorow im gonna build the dock and finish drylocking and it should be ready to test!

I've never used or seen drylok however mine has put some minor scratches in plexiglass that is abouve the water line trying to get out. Definatly something i would keep an eye out for.
If you're worried about scratching, you could silicone an acrylic "ribbon" around the edges where the water level will be. That way when they're trying to climb the walls, they scratch the acrylic instead of the drylok.
Just a thought... and the build looks nice, can't wait to see water in it.

man i cant wait to get this build done...my big turtle cant even fit on the basking platform in the tank they are in right now....

im watching her struggle and fail to get up on the floating island..so what are the inside deminsions on this indoor pond? i am now thinking about doing one my self. I like the idea for the acrylic border.
