do you know if the bottom is tempered? I wana drill it but haven't been able to find out, i emailed big als where the guy bought it but they dont respond to much and as suspected havent emailed me back, i dont really feel like calling....
so it looks like no panels are tempered, but I would verify to make sure.
CURRENTLY marineland's 150 tall has no tempered panels, but if this is a used tank, it could be a few years old which means it might have been tempered back then..
you need a way to find out for sure without drilling it..
I am aware, I know even the 180 wont really be enough for it, I know a guy with a 600 gallon pond and a 700 gallon tank so if I can't house it I am pretty sure he would be happy to take it, I plan to ask him before picking up the clown, if i cant go with the clown im planning on a BGK cause they get to about 15'' I think
the largest I have seen were two legit 30" ones that were raised in a 265g. but that was 10 years ago and I have not seen any over 18" since..I would think that 24" would be an average max. size in most home tanks..
