why not keep it floating? just find a way to keep it from going all over the tank. i actually think that looks pretty cool

I will for awhile but it just seems it takes up a lot of good swimming space floating. It is just in my head but it seems to take over the tank floating around lol

Give it time and it should sink. If you don't want to wait, you can attache a piece of slate to the bottom to help it stay down.

Yeah, I want it to sink NOW though :D

What are you going to keep in it?

Still not sure... I am going to go around some pet shops in tampa and see if anything catches my interest.

I went there yesterday and it was nice. Didn't have what I was looking for but one of the better LFS's I have ever been too.

Any other good places in Tampa? I went to an Animal House and it sucked. The place I went to on Mabry (or Dale Mabry idk) was closed on a Wednesday which pissed me off.

So... Dr. Foster and Smith sent me a broken light. I kid you not. In fact, if you asked me, it looks used. The ballast seems bad... I can't even get the bulbs to flicker. I switched the bulbs with the other one and still nothing.

If it isn't one thing it is another.

Arg.... now I have to hassle with them over this. Who knows when I will get another light in....

I will say I am going to have to switch the bulbs out eventually. These are too yellow for my liking but it will due for now.

I needed to make my tank escape proof. I had 4 feet of that plastic back stuff from my old 75 gallon so that wasn't too bad, just had to chisel a bit.

But my tank is 6 feet long. I can't find any of the plastic stuff locally (and don't want to pay the shipping for a 5 dollar item) so I looked around the house. And looked. And looked. Decided duct tape and shims were my best option lol. This wnat be like this forever.
