What are some breed sof Dwarf pike and not too sure if they can be found around here. Ill have to let him look at the puffers. Dwarf Puffers right

I have some I have learnt alot from my uncle who had a 15 gallon with some in it (dwarf puffers)
Sorry, missed a page in the thread,
Okay so far you have cardinals, neons, cories and zebras. You could add a few silver or marbled hatchetfish, some glo-light tetras, and a coolie or 2. The octo cats are still a good choice for the bottom and a few penguifish will give you some more mid to top water fish that will mix well with what you have.
No algae eater really controls algae.
To lessen algae problems use cheap fast growing plants such as elodea to out compete the algae for nutrients, also try to limit the ammount of sunlight the tank recieves.

He wanted some at first and we went to check some out and after he saw the ones at the pet store he did not want them anymore for some reason

He is over at a friends house so I will ask when he gets home how many can go in a 20g but he wants some neon tetra's and some other tank mates too

Just want to add one more thing he likes the puffers so far he has

3 dwarf puffers
4-6 neon tetras
1 snail (large) (puffers to control babies)

what else???

Puffers do NOT play well with others and are best kept in a species tank or you are liable to find your tetras chopped up.

Oops, missed a page in this thread. With what you have now you can add some penguinfish for top and mid water, maybe a few marbled hatchets, some glo-light tetras, and oto cats or a coolie or 2.
Avoid plecos asmost get far to large for this tank
Most algae eaters do not control algae. Instead use fast growing plants like elodea to compete for nutrients and limit sunlight exposure, this will control most algae.

Will check for some flying foxes and will get some more plants for algae

No problem, i just wanted to make sure u knew before you bought the regular flying fox.

sounds good just a quick question about if there is a difference between cardinal and neon tetras other than the colour diferences.

Also would I be able to add a needlefish to the setup listed in my signature(-2 mollies diff tank)

About .3 of a cm difference. Cardinals are a lil bigger.
