24k crossback mating dance has started again!

Hi all,
So it looks like we might have another breeding attempt soon, not sure if anyone would remember but they bred back in December but he ate the eggs 7 days later. So this time we are going to get the eggs out.
I do have video of them doing this mating ritual, it’s mesmerising and I could watch them for hours, but file too large to upload.

It’s crazy to watch, they proper vibrate together. And the dance is amazing. Last time they bred, she didn’t eat for 4 days leading up to it and now we are on day 2 of her not eating, so let’s wait and see...
Not sure if there have been any successful attempts here in the UK? On my searches I have found none (I may be wrong) but would be such an achievement if we have actual fry...praying.

WE HAVE EGGS!!!
But not the dreaded task of getting em out!
Very nervous as last time he leapt out of pond past my head, so more measures will b put in place to prevent that happening again.

Will update on how we get on... wish us luck!
