i have a 270 on the second flor + the stand which is another 400 LB ..... if u break it down its like 175-200 Lbs per Square Ft. ..... no worries ! joists are rated at 750 LBS max is around 2000 LBs !
 
you need to be having this discussion with the condo association and not on here.... if you put it in there cause somebody here said you will be fine and the floor breaks and who ever is below it gets killed... contact them depending on the buildings age and how it was built will determine how much the floor will hold... them and a engineer can tell you what to do not us here...

Personally I would pass on this deal anyways. For comparison, I will be selling a complete set up 240 gallon acrlyic, stand, Ocean Clear canister filters and a FX5 for 350-400$. I bought it used about a year ago for 450$. All I added to the package was the FX5. In my opinion there are much better deals out there and I would wait for them.
 
I got my 265 with lid light 2 hob and under gravel filter and stand with 4 power heads for 800 bucks. It took 6 peeps to get it in my basment I'm hireing a moveing company to get it out if move!!!

if the asking price is $1100 then just put in an offer of what you think is fair... and see what he comes back with.
