I think Sticky made it very clear A LONG time ago that him wanting opinions had nothing to do with being snobby. As I recall, he thought this was a great informational thread and has learned a lot about Dats. He wanted more opinions so that he could learn more and make this a resource for those unsure about distinguishing an IT or an ST. He also made it very clear that he was happy with the fish he got and just wanted to make sure he got what he paid for (the premium price tag of an ST).

Calling him snobby is a bit extreme, and uncalled for IMO

Amen bro!...thanks for understanding:D

wow!...being concerned about my own fish is being a snobby? well if you said so im sure you are yourself when you started aquarium and inclueless about some fish you don't know about. Take a look in this site or any other site. every newbie are concern about their own fish, then there for their are snobby to?

All I ask is opinion and point of view from different members.

Wow! people now a day...look at yourself first before you calling other name. im sure you don't like it when people call you name.

This thread was good with tons of opinion but ended with bunch of jerk bashing me calling snobby!...suck a loser:screwy:

I did not once call you a snob, but was merely trying to give you insight why some of the others did.

I care about my fish, and I'm sure you do to. But you seem overly concerned of what people are calling your fish. If people say its a ST are you gonna keep it? If people say its a IT are you gonna get rid of it? Keep fish for yourself not for others, otherwise your in this hobby for all the wrong reasons. Good luck with your dats.
;)

hahaha this thread makes me lol :D

i will state my opinion again i think its a IT :D

does that make the fish look any worse than when you brought it or does it still look the same

if you are worried about buying IT rather than ST you have 2 choices

1. do some more resurch
2. take a tiger expert with you when you buy the fish

if you not sure if its IT or ST then dont buy it or you will never be sure

i understand the point hear if you paid ST money you should be getting ST

but if you want my opinion i know some people say the tail stripes are not a good way of IDing tigers BUT i would never pay ST prices for a tiger with IT tail stripe

No need to get bent out of shape for no reason. I was just implying that you seem to have alot of experience with Dats, and from the numbers you gave us here you have some success in keeping them healthy and thriving, I was just curious about the smileys........nice dats !
