Absolutely gorgeous setup! I'm looking at a 300g as well from Midwest next year most likely when we buy a house and this thread gave me many great ideas! Really likes the detail you gave about your plumbing too...it helped alot!

you have a really nice setup...do you think you could make a video? ive never seen a detailed video on how the sump system works and it all really just confuses me...plus ide really like to see the fish moving. im contemplating getting rid of all my tanks and consolidating down to just one 300ish gallon.
 
Amazing setup, the fish are just stunning and the scape you did is so awesome. I am so jelous.
 
Thanks guys! Yeah I'll post a video next week sometime as I'm traveling till the 25th. It looks alot more confusing than it really is.

We should have free swimmers by tomorrow or so anyways.

I just read the whole thread. Great build. I really like seeing the technology that can be added to an oversized bucket of water.
