South American cichlids would have to be uaru.f
Stunning fish I had a shoal of 19 the best cichlid on the planet in my eyes and the prices are coming down now they are being captive bred

I've always thought about uaru. Very cool fish.

Leaning more towards a Synsplium though....

The ones in the video are uaru.f they are a bit more aggressive and can hold ground easy

I also love normal uaru.a they have a lovely coloured eye

Also love true parrots I had them all in the same tank with a Asian aro thrown in for good luck

Brilliant thread, wish i had the skills and knowledge to build somthing like this
1 Question though, why would you build a sump instead of lets say maybe have 2 Fx6 fluval external filters ? Would it not be easier to do and produce the same result ?
