330 gallon setup and sump build

Went out and got a oil filter wrench and it worked so much better then channel locks with the space I had to work with. Doing a 15 minute test where I closed off the valves to the gate valve and just let the over flows fill up. So far we are about 10 minutes in and no drips or leaks!

Update:

Right one is going strong with no drips. Left had a few small drips coming out so I tightened the bulkhead just a tad more and we are looking good so far. Just going to let it sit overnight to test it

Lol glad I went with the externals. But the left I've tightened a few times just a little more and I think I got it now. The last time I walked in it wasn't leaking at the seam anymore but between the nut and threads. But it's just a drop not like a trickle. Looks good now for the last 15 minutes so we will see

Alright so it's still dripping from inside the nut on the threads now. Not really sure what to do at this point

Is ply wood making it harder to tighten ? Too small of an area or is ot touching the nut ?

It's getting to be too small of an area. The more I tighten the more it was coming out from between the nut and threads

If it's getting worse as you tighten it then it sounds like there might be a crack.

Checked before work this morning and there is no crack on the bulkhead. But I did take a measurement of the distance between the pipe and the back of the tank and it varies once it gets towards the bottom. Towards the bottom of the tank when it goes underneath is 1.75" away from the back panel while at the top closest to the bulkhead is 2". Could this be the problem
