damn 6 tanks ! how the heck do you manage them

not 100% but probably the Asian bb cat and the EJBD. But maybe a salvini alone or pair of cons. Kind of like the barbs ..screw the danios lol. If I go with the ebjd gonna keep them

Danios have feelings to :). No but that's a good stock. I might get a large cichlid like an Amph species for my 75 but I don't want to get rid of the danios, doubtful enough my pleco and raph would survive with one.

I just got a piece of wood like this has the slate attached at the bottom. What do I have to do to clean it ? Just a quick washing or donu have to soak it.

Danios are cool but way too many in there like 12

IF you have the time I'd boil it twice for 20 minutes each time and let it soak for a week. If you need it in quick like I do boil it once for 30-40 minutes and soak it for at least 12 hrs changing water every few hours.

Really not in a rush so I can soak it

(after boiling) soak in water for a few days .. empty the container it was soaking in,,put in fresh water,, soak another few days,,repeat process until water stays clear throughout the process...:)

How often do you guys go before replacing the filter floss? Can I re use it

if it's the fluffy stuff ..wait till it turns brown then rinse out..(tank water)..you can rinse it a few times before it starts degrading badly...the sheets keep reusing till they get holes in em:)

that kinda wood may"cure"quickly..1 or 2 soaks

I just saw that the wood you got has slate attached...you most likely won't need to boil it ...something like that is "probably" safe.... just soak until you get the tannis out (color)and put it in the tank.. if you do boil it try and keep the slate out of the boiling water...unless you know it's safe to boil slate...I think it probably is ,,,somebody that knows for sure might post:popcorn:
