I am at work and couldn't turn up the volume so I might of missed it but why doesn't he cast a regluar pole?

Nice catch but thats not a fair comparrison as people use those poles for freshwater "smallish" fish not saltwater .

I have seen several use those poles in the area for catfish,cichlids,etc while they use rod/reel for bass .

Granted not 48 feet but long .

I'm trading in my Ugly Stik. I'll put 1000 lb test on one of those and airplanes will have to dodge me casting a half pound spinner bait.
