48 Foot Fishing Rod!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i used a 6 ft light pole with fishing line tied to the end and a bobber and piece of shrimp to catch 1-2lb snappers/ permits / grouper etc in a saltwater pond in Hong Kong ... that was fun.... but a 48 ft pole ..... eeh.... fail ...

I catch huge bluegills on a 4'8" ultralight ugly stick. I can cast with enough precision to hit a dinner plate 20 feet away. So . . . I don't really see the point. If you're in a situation where you can't fish any other way. . Ok. I guess you could do that? But to make a "sport" out of it? Like others said, bluegills are a dime a dozen. You can catch bluegills on empty hooks half the time.

i love fishing n wouldnt mind trying it. but the biggest i see reason or needing to use is a 10ft and i only have one 10ft. only for far casting. n off pear.works real well

over here in the uk these aren't to outrageous the are brilliant for fish right on the edge of reeds of lilies and i own a 20 ft 1
