I have since switched it over from african cichlids to a amazon sunken river theme.
Awesome tank.. Kind of disappointed that the Africans are gone though
Thank you, I love africans as well but the funny thing with me is I don't like african tank setups long term. I can only handle the rocky look for so long no idea why, just a funny quirk with me I guess, I just prefer either marine setups (organisms covering the rockwork!) or planted/driftwood tanks. Here's a small updated video of the tank. I really wanted to go saltwater with it but my wife was completely against the dollar figure of it when I showed her the breakdown of what it was going to cost :/

looks too bright and clean though just my opinion
i have a friend who had a tank with 6-8 large adults, lots of driftwood and all kinds on tannins in the water and darker lighting ... man it looked sweet
also, you should put some brycon in there ... it would be AWESOME!!!!
anyhow great looking build!! i havent been active on here since i switched to sw, but i will keep an eye on here for sure !!!
