I used to feed my Sen chopped market shrimp or chopped tilapia, perch, etc. Whatever was on special at the seafood counter at the local grocery store was on his menu. Stuff a few pellets i the meat and he'll get all the nutrition he needs.
In my 55g I went for a planted african biotope, I have a sen poly, an african brown knife, and a synodontis eupterus, and provided with lots of caves, nooks and crannys, they are perfectly fine together.
those "leaf fish" you are talking about from pet smart are misslabled their lepard bush fish.
Thats just sad. they cant label their fish right.I've found tht most things in chainstores (fish @ least) are mislabed in some way. my sens were lables as dinosaur bicher, my buddy bought his as a dragon eel... another local pet store had peakock eels as zig-zag eels...
