60 Gallon tank for arapaima?

A Black Arowana would look great with some rays! I am currently raising my 10 little silvers to add to my 180 with my rays in the future. I know you might have already ruled out a Jardini, but here is my experience.

18"+ Jardini + Pair of 4" Retic Stingrays + 180 gallon = Peace.

All that is need to be said.....but that was my setup I had in the past. Same thing went with my Black with rays and my bigger silver as well.

And yes rays are Illegal there and I like how you think! A leopoldi will be a dream to have!

if he can find 1 its hard finding 1 in SoCal,very fragile at small size

Even though they are illegal doesn't deter some people from owning them. Thats why people own snakeheads clarias catfish and asian arowanas in Auz and USA, even tho they are illegal.
