I read the pond armor ad, and it says itll bond to "almost anything" (whatever that means)
and anyway, we should be putting snakeheads in "our tank" because the 110 i just got is too small for them. and this way if anyone causes trouble with you, you can stick their digits in the snakehead tank. and maybe some gator gar too...

Just get a huge package of straight razors and go to town on the silicone with new sharo ones the stuff should come off very easy I probally went through 100 blades redoing my 180 and I would just use silicone to seal it nothing bonds to glass better and lasts longer than 100% silicone

After scraping perfectly clean with razors and wiping with alchohol,scrub with scotchbrite pads,usually find it wasnt as clean as it looked.can even go over it again with fine sandpaper,just dont scratch your viewing panel.If its clean enough itll seal.

Update.....kinda.....

It's tax season and will be doing my returns soon....which will go straight to this thing!

I have a design in mind, but was wondering if anyone had any welding experience on the board...

I'm going to build a frame out of stainless steel (found a metal supply shop!). This should let me be able to take it apart in the near future...BUT...does anyone have any experience welding something like this? this is all tempered glass. How careful do I need to be to make sure the glass doesn't break?????

Are you talking about welding a frame around it using angle iron? If this is what your talking about I wouldn't weld it while it's on the tank, I wouldn't think that'd be too good. If your wanting to build a frame out of stainless for it I would make the bottom and sides of the frame and set the tank into that and figure out how your going to connect the top.
