Coming along very nicely...KUDOS...

As far as the car under the cover,
I'd be all,
"Car?!
What Car?,
Was that a car under that cover?!"
He was in so big of a hurry to move it out of your way, It must need to be there for a while...;) :D

EXACTLY! Truthfully, I worry about if I MIGHT have angered, upset, or hurt someone way too much... too a fault and drive myself nuts sometimes over nothing. To push me to the point of being willing to do this (see photos), you must have seriously hit a cord. Don't lie to my face repeatedly, or apparently you go on my human trash list and I quit caring.

Tank... meet car. :grinno:

Thats really stunning. My dream tank!! What are the dimentions?
I love the video of putting him in, theres nothing like seeing a big fish go into a new HUGE tank. :D

Thanks! Its 8'x4'x30". I am so happy to see him be able to really swim around. Its really satisfying and makes keeping these big guys really fun. I feel extremely fortunate.

Very nice You've got some big shoes to fill owning that tank and you're on the right track to stocking it right. I'll be watching this for some good updates.

Uh, oh. Pressures on fishies! Quick! Look good guys! :WHOA:
This is going to be a very different group of fish to inhabit this tank for a while. Lots of big catfish. In a couple years, it will be something else, but lets just hope you all like big, hungry, lumbering kitties.

Nice work! I am amazed that you have starting getting fish in there so quickly. I am used to having to wait weeks or months to see this much progress in these journal threads.

He really is a handsome fish.

I'm sorry I missed what kind of sand is that?

We've been waiting a couple months already to get everything in place, but my first focus was keeping filtration alive so as to not have wait forever once the tank was running. Also, I now completely understand why these threads take so long. There are always unexpected hurdles that seem to suck up entire days if not weeks. This tank was so complete and yet we somehow still had so much to do.

I'm still waiting to see some monster ID's come into the tank...

Tank looks great.I don't think I would ever go inside if I had that in my garage.

Acutally, we had plans to put a rug and couch till the car stayed. It would have been awesome. But, definitely that will be part of the criteria for when we move.
