All the other fish know to watch out when they are hunting, they search and swim very fast, and when any part of them brushes against a pellet they whip around and grab it, usually with a large mouthful of gravel too! very powerful eaters, i cant stress that enough!!

looks amazing bro! Got any good new pics of him? :) That growth rate has me thinking of getting one for the 100 gal, and then saving up to either build or buy a bigger tank within a year. Sorry haven't read through it all, but what do you keep the temp at?

Room temps, summers I keep a fan on with the lids off and at the most the temperature gets to 78. Winters in the low 70's.

Edit: I have a bunch of pics on my phone. I'l post em up later tonight :)
 
Dude if that thing ever kicks the bucket send it to me and I will clean the skeleton and make a killer mount out of it!!! ;) you can have the fillets though lol.
