They are a pretty large cat, 125 sounds right.
Plecos and raphaels are the usual go to because they are built like a tank, even piranhas have trouble killing them.

Just my 0.002 some FH just ignore bottom dwelling fish as long as they don't challenge it i.e - bichirs.Just keep in kind that it controls the upper and middle level of the tank.

Probably but I suck at catfish lol. I’d wait on what others recommend for a cat.
 
so you’re looking for a bottom dweller? As I mentioned bichirs, but I think you’re looking for fish with more personality…right?

Definitely wanting personality even if the fish looks like it just went through a wood chipper I just want a fish that I can form a bond with

If that's what you want, from my personal experience get a small group of some kind of Amphilophus, Red Devil, Midas, Saggitae. Grow them out till you find the most outgoing/best looking male. This is how I got my guy Casper.

Already going to have a flowerhorn. So I was thinking of something more at the bottom
