800 gallon plywood catfish tank

I really want to see this finished. I was going to use the blue ames years ago on my 4000 build, but I had to scrap that project and been curious to see if anyone else tried it. Be nice if it works in the long run. Sounds like others may not have had luck with it. Good luck bro.
 
looks good so far, I just completed my 240 gallon, using Zavlar's liquid rubber, didn't want the tank black on the inside so I used krylon fusion hunter green, looks really good, the good thing about fusion paint is it bonds to liquid rubber, not sure about how it would bond to the blue max but I would think it would be the same.
 
Glass is set and I should be ready to fill soon. Waiting on the pump to come in. I will get photos up soon. I will be honest and say this Blue max seems like very good stuff.
 
i'm excited for ya!! looking good so far! how do things look in person so far?
 
Tank is full!!! No leaks yet. Been standing 24 hours. The pump is on order. Super excited that so far so good.

Still good! Working on getting stuff to finish inside of tank. Soon as pump gets here I'll do flow tests then drain everything to start cosmetics.

Items to acquire are:

Spring flo type bio media
Filter pads
Sand
Paint for inside (does turn baby blue)
Paneling for outside of tank
Trims
Lid material
Lights
And my big tree :) (gotta go hunting for this)
