A few more cichlid questions

Well i was gonna get Jacks so during breeding though will they attack any fish in tank even not around there territory
 
okay then i have heard though that jacks are on of the less agreesive cichlids while breeding not like a firemouth or convict that will kill any fish in tank with them while breeding
 
Yes,firemouths and convicts will kill anyone that goes near their frys,I don't believe you will have major issues with JDs in general,I have own 1 for almost a year and he isn't killing anyone in my tank.
 
okay then well will be getting a pair with probably 2 to 3 pictus cats thanks for all the help

They don't. A single pictus catfish is likely to hide 90% of the time and scavenge for food only when the lights are off.
 
put a featherfin catfish to big to be eaten
 
Are featherfins an active catfish like a pictus or do they just sit around all the time
