Well I've had both sexes of Iguanas and she does have some male characteristics.
She has large cheek scales and really long back spines for a female. Im not doubting you that she is a female, but she is definently butch!

Yeah I'll agree shes a man-head iguana lol. She is male looking but you can also tell just by looking at her overall kind of look she is female. I will admit I questioned it myself, but vet confirmed female

Well then as long as the vet says she a girl, then thats all I needed to here!
lol well actually, alot of lizards you can tell the sex by looking at them , snakes you can't! lol
Hmmm...I, too wouldv'e said male on the iguana, but we can only assume the vet knows what they're doing. Not trying to start an argument; I just remain skeptical...what do the femoral pores look like?
