Trying not to be a taddletail,:irked: but there was 'someone' (that I won't mention:screwy:) that answered a question about whether or not a certain fish would be alright with another. That 'someone' knew :nono: that the one fish would sooner or later harm :thumbsdow or most likey KILL the others. :headshake Gave the exact opposite opinion. Someone else on here was nice enough to give me a heads-up on the purposely bad info!:headbang2Am still trying to forgive the idiot that was a jerk to me!... still wanting to do this to him= :nutkick: and :lipsseale.....so, in answer to your question....I hold a person to be responsible for the info they are handing out, when they know the info given is going to be used by a noob that doesn't know better. I have since then sepperated these fish.

i actually agree with creepyoldguys vent. lots of people here do nothing but flame and put people down instead of actually helping with useful advice/tips. if i feel i see someone is doing something wrong with THEIR OWN TANK i will pm that person with my observation, thoughts and tips and let them know its just my opinion help doesnt always have to be publicized. too many people here try to be KING of fish keeping ruling all the tanks in the land and get off by being asses flaming people. and by the way recently asked myself am i the only one NOT building an "indoor pond" lol lets enjoy the hobby people not laugh at or out do others

It is best to stick to contributing positively on this or any other forum.

If you are getting upset with people you should step back and take a vacation from the forums.

Sadly pointing out all of the fish keeping czars and their evil ways won't help anyone. Each person has to use their own judgment on who to trust and who to ignore

That's just my opinion, feel free to change the world and prove my wrong :)

If your actions are based on only one individual's advise or recommendations, then the stupidity is your fault. No matter how correct or incorrect the information may be.

^^ Agreed. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, especially the advice of a single person. Not matter how much we "know", everyone makes mistakes.

I'll say one thing. I mainly hang out in my saltwater corner the majority of time that I am on here but I attempt to contribute otherwise. I see alot of "flaming", name calling and general nastiness in these sections but none in the saltwater sections. I have asked some seriously dumb questions and no one has ever put me down about it.

I think everyone needs to :chillpill:. This is place to share info and ideas. Disagreements happen and should. If someone gave bad information, they should be corrected but in a respectful way. I know sometimes what comes off in text isn't always how things were meant to come out, so cut people some slack.

I'll be the first one to ask dumb questions about FW stuff. I ask because I have no idea and my "googling" hasn't lead to sound results. So I refer to this site because 95% of people on here have more experience than I do.

That being said. Don't worry, Be Happy :grinno:

I love the greenhouse building saying, especially from someone who doesn't have a job.

Was not my stupidity! The same person had been in several other threads/posts. And being a noob, I would not know that this person gives some noobs cr*p advice. I have asked questions here before and only 1 or 2 answered : They gave really good, extremely helpful info. :headbang2:D
