A few questions for you "monsterfishkeepers"

I was using the 'noob' thing as a general thing that goes on, why so many of them don't come back after their first visit.. not specifically to you.. but understood...

Although, comments about how much you seem to loath Wal-Mart and Petco stores.. just needs to stop.. and it may not even be the actual store itself.. but just because there is a thread that happens to have Petco or Wal-Mart or any other chain name for that matter.. Should not give you the right to put out some of the comments that you have in the past.. and may still be doing.. idk.. I don't monitor.. None the less, it all comes down to.. if you have nothing good to say, just keep it shut like I said before.. It's just not necessary... and the one problem that you really need to address, especially in this (below) situation is your assuming.. You assumed everything you said about (me) my sitution in that thread..

Just don't stir the pot, and you'll be alright.. especially when it's completely uncalled for..

I'm glad you have that much time to worry about such nonsense. Next time I go to Wal-Mart, I'll be sure to buy a few just to dump out in the parking lot and I'll be thinking of you

Oh Yes!, at least 6 of my posts are deleted and there were others deleted that were posted by others. Oh well......that's alright. I try not to hold a grudge. Maybe it's better this way. I only keep fish that fit in the tank space I have.

Feel free to take a search for an old thread of mine where i talk about having 12 goldfish in my 55g, then look a few weeks ahead at how I had sold them back to my LFS, even tho i lost money on the whole ordeal.

I've Complained about LFS and even suggested making a website based around reporting LFS as I don't have an amazing legal team behind me.

Fish die, I had a 100% death of all my stock recently, because of my LFS. I went there and all there fish were dead, but didn't admit to there being an issue to me. I did not blame anyone except for myself.

Im sure this thread will get deleted but maybe it will do some good. As someone stated earlier this is about sharing ideas and experiences and exchanging of knowledge. I've learned a lot through this site but nothing compares to experience. It seems to me that when someone shares their experience that goes against the expert in that subforum they get flames. There is also way too much info regurgitators that have no experience that jump on someone who is seeking info.

On a side note, where are all the 4' rtcs and tsn's or the 4' silver arose and all the other monster fish. There was recently a thread in the aro sectionabout tank size. Ppl were making claims of tank sizes based on a fish that supposedly gets 4' long and no one has shown proof of an aro over 30". Fish in captivity differ greatly from that in wild. It's stuff like this that gets passed on that makes this site somewhat erroneous.

There does appear to be a double standard in many sections of the forum... where established members can say their tank is over-filtrated to make up for the over-stock... and everybody just nods and smiles, even though we never see the filtration or anything.

This is why I like the gar sub-forum - it may be a little cutthroat but at least we do not stop giving blunt, true advice and criticisms no matter your post count or impressive stock list.
