towards the end, in no particular order, off the top of my head:
little finger kills wife, seems to have won sanza over
stanis beratheon comes to the wall's aid
tyrion kills dad, escapes with varys' help
varys appears to flee
prince oberyn fights mountain
hound fights brienne
arya leaves hound for dead and gets on a ship
mountain is in the icu
dragons are locked up for killing children
danyrus sends old white dude away for being a spy earlier on
daario gets lucky and scores with dany and is sent on a mission
So I had never even given this show any thought, until November at least.
I ended up binge watching everything up to the Red Wedding. After that episode I sat in the dark in silence for like half an hour. Took me 2 months to come back, and now I'm hooked again. Finished every episode left and about to start the series over with some friends. I'm also actually considering reading the books.
