To the OP, I would not add an O to that mix of Africans. As far as your LFS, bad advice. IMHO an adult Oscar requires a minimum of 100 gallons.
How come? Would the oscar kill the peacocks/haps?

My friend keeps a lemon jake peacock and electric blue hap with 2 oscars and the oscars are smaller and do fine.I'm not to worried about bio load. I do weekly 50% waterchanges plus the 29 gallon wet dry filter I have running around 1000gph plus the eheim.
My only real concern is the oscar not dying to the peacocks and vise vera.

I do 85% weekly water changes, and I have a single 13-14" 7 yr old male cichlid in that 125 gallon tank. And most would consider my feeding amount to be middle of the road, to more on the sparingly side. I also run three AC 110's on that tank. https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/my-midas.716325/
I've also kept numerous species of African cichlids, over many years. https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/africans-from-the-past-warning-pic-heavy.716020/
Good luck
