Ah yeah that pbb might have eaten the odoe.
I now believe the platy was the culprit, after having a noticeable lump in her belly, and now appearing to have some swim bladder issues. The tail keeps rising at about 30-45% degrees while the head sits at the bottom, much less swimming as she always does, and labored breathing. Noticed yesterday and worse today.. increase temp to 83-84 and salt at 1 tablespoon per gallon?
A 30M epsom salt bath in a 12 ounce container seems to have done the trick, believe she pooped and just lying still against the floor now

So I’m down to my bichirs, G Poly, and Leaf fish in this tank.. can anyone recommend a good cichlid or suggestion to add? I have nothing for the mid water level and it’s a little dull. I shipped off the datnoids to a friend, African pike got eaton by one of the bichirs, the platinum got swim bloat which I had to euthanize, and the African knife got sucked into the sump and died before I properly capped it. Basically walked away from the tank for a month out of frustration but want to add something with some color or atleast a heavy visual.
