Should be fine. My kribs don’t mess with anything outside their size range.

Depends on species. Congos are probably too fast but yeah, anything 14 inches and up can easily take a krib.

you never know. a sleeping fish can always be preyed upon. I wouldn't risk it. Best bet is to keep some medium sized African catfishes of synondits group.

Maybe African butterfly as a top fish. Bichir shouldn’t venture towards it.

Puffer was given to a friend, wouldn’t leave my bichirs alone! And most of the bichirs in here will eventually need to upgrade to a larger grow out. The PBB has become a sausage link so he’ll get moved first. Thinking the 10 inch mark, how quickly does that happen, I’m not sure but a 220 is ready

Yeah somewhat worried about the filter current on the top, def want some more mid tier action it’s dull

I would keep an African community tank without bichirs. Give 'em their own tank because this way you can add more types of smaller fish into the African community tank.
