I eventually threw mine into his final tank a 300g with many big cichlids. Yet, while he was in a 180g with other bigger fish he actually 1/4 tanked them while he claimed the other 3/4 as his.

If you're considering african cichlids then a pair of "five star general" hemichromis elongatus will fit the bill. Nasty attitude, piscivore, and very beautiful.
My advice if your asking questions like this is not to get any! It might seem like a harsh response but if your asking questions like this, your not hooked on the maintenance of the fish but the status, i hope im wrong but its not usually the case on this forum. Get a cichlid you like, because you like it not just because it can tear another fish into bits because you will always be dissapointed with it, these are animals, it might be aggressive in the lfs but when you get it home quite docile, then what? less water changes or you give it away because of boredom. I hope my response is completely out of context and you have kept fish (or more directly cichlids) for a long time and you know what your doing and you were asking this question out of fun and if you were i completely apologise. If not please research the animal your about to get and learn as much about it as you can rather than just relying on this forum and buying it because its aggressive! Best of luck!
this post right here is so contradictory i don't know where to start. you want a super aggressive fish to house with another fish that can also be very aggressive, yet you don't want your fish to fight? time to take a step back and research more on compatible species and species that sometimes are best housed alone.
I uassally clean my tanks more than once a week. and I want an aggressive fish because. it is fun to watch a fish try to eat me and my cats tru the glass. and I do not fight fish! he was going to be the only fish in the tank! I think I am going to get a flowerhorn because they are pretty and big and super aggressive. I do not fight fish because it is cruel. when I posted this thread I new I was only going to get one fish because super aggressive fish only get along in huge tanks 150 gallons or more.and i spend half of my allowence on ph up and stuff like that that aqarium fish need. i do not buy ph down because I use well water whitch is around 6 ph. i care about my fish. and I clean my fish tanks a lot. and i take verry good care of my fish. I care about my fish!
Perhaps you should just focus on trying to keep your current oscar happy & healthy for now, instead of wasting everyones time about another tank, that you don't even have. I'm guessing that your mom & dad are going to limit you to your oscar & his tank until you become more mature, and more responsible.
They said that I was geting the tank for my birthday. and I am chosing a fish now so I can reaserch it after I decide what fish I want. I always tell my freind to return fish that ger to big for his small 10 gallon tank. and I am gouing to tell him about the nitragin cycle ect. I can handdle fish tanks. I clean my tanks a lot to! I am good with fishkeeping. and I can handel more than 75 gallons! how did you now I had a baby oscar who is doing great. I am really good at fish for my age. I am teaching my younger sister how to clean the grevel sython. I can handle it!
