I had no Idea that underoos exested untill now. grow up balton 777. underroos probibly do not fit me anyway.

sorry for spelling mistakes. I am not 4. please do not send any more offensive posts to anybouby balton 777. unless they put a dovii in a 5 gallon tank.

You and I got off on the wrong foot with those first five or so threads you made.

I'll cool it, in hopes you'll learn a few things around here. :)

do you think a flowerhorn chould fit in a 65 gallon tank. it is deeper than the avrage 65 gallon.it is 3 ft long 18 inches in depth 18 inches is plenty of space for a 12-14 inch fish to turn around in and 20 inches tall 65 gallons is 5 gallons away from 70 gallons 5 gallons does not make a big diffrence. i whould never put a 12 inch fish in a standerd 65 gallon but mabey this 65 gallon.

36x18x20 is 56 gallons, not 65. Your tank seems to be growing with each thread that you start. And no, a 36x18 footprint is not ideal for any cichlid that has the potential to reach 12-14", which includes cichlid hybrids such as flowerhorn.

If you aren't going to start accepting the advice given, soon you won't be getting any advice.

Just for the record if you house any cichlid by themself to long they will get very territorial of that space and will try and kill everything that you put in there. Having said that the red devil will give you the most enjoyment as a single fish for that tank as they will pace the tank and try and bite you thru the glass. But if the tank was larger, i'd say Dovii first then Umbee without doubt.

I really wanted a flowerhorn but I gues i will not get one for the helth of my fish. what about a red devil or midis chiclid. chould one of them fit. I am only gettig one aggressive chiclid in the tank.

NO - your tank is too damn small for ANY of the larger cichlids that can reach 12+" in captivity, and that includes red devils and/or midas. Please stop asking the same stupid questions over & over & over again. This has already been explained to you in numerous other topics that you've started. A tank with a footprint of 36x18 is best served for smaller species of cichlids, such as convicts which was suggested earlier to you.

Why does everyone thats getting started out in the hobby want the biggest baddest fish? If I were you I would get some firemouths , salvini or Grammodes and you will have a fish with plenty of attitude and have them in a tank to which they will be able to grow. Get the monster fish when your budget allows. Oh and don't even try getting all of the fish I mentioned.
