All Bichir (Polypterus) Species - Updated

So I own a store, I purchased these under the name Palmas, but I have some local "experts" saying they arent palmas. What would these be?

These are Polypterus bichir, the "Lapradei" ecotype, Polypterus palmas look very different (attatched). They're not usually species that get confused.

In Indonesia, where most bichir are captive bred, they use the word 'Palmas' interchangeably with Polypterus. I believe it's because Polypterus palmas was the first bichir species they imported. So the name Polypterus bichir will often be listed as Palmas bichir. It can be very confusing for importers.
