All gars banned in Singapore.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You mean SGD right? Haha! Gars will still be available and people will still be selling them irregardless of the ban. If i'm not mistaken, most Lungfish here are illegal yet we still find LFS openly selling them. Correct me if i'm wrong though.

Bolded for this: Yeah, whatever.

Honestly, I have no clue on the Lungfish situation. I heard Aussies are legal, but have loads of red tape. Nothing on the other Lungs.

You get AVA officials going to the LFS telling them it's illegal to sell but the thing is there is no official word in black & white and they take no action against those said LFS so I think it's not illegal or they just CBF

can we keep politics out of the thread?

Sorry Alex! What are your personal takes on this issue? Would love to hear from S'pore's Garman himself.

As for chewing gum, it's not a crime to eat it. You just can't buy it off the shelves except for dental and nicotine gum

Are you serious. Please tell me this is a joke . If not that is just plain :screwy::ROFL:

No it's not a joke and TBH I don't miss it
They banned chewing gum because ppl were using it to jam the train doors, leaving it on the seats, pasting it over lift buttons etc

You won't get into trouble for bringing chewing gum into the country for own consumption just that you can't get it off the shelves

personal take is that until the official black and white is out on the issue, whatever we say about the AVA or the govt will likely make us look foolish at the end of the day.

on the issue of gars being banned, obviously i'm not excited about it, haha. but who knows, the AVA might actually have a valid reason for whatever they're doing.
