They are very much smaller but Hillstream loaches look like tiny rays.
I thought about Hillstream loaches for awhile. They look incredibly fascinating. The only problem I do have is their size. I don't want to put them in and have them all be sucked up like a piece of fish food. I wish they had a bigger variation but I think hillstream loaches only get so tiny. :(

Careful with the shovelnose....might take out some of that stock when it gets some size also majority of jardini arows get aggressive so be prepared to seperate or sell in the future
Yea, I am going to give it to my uncle who can properly care for it- the shovelnose. As for the Jardini, I am hoping that I got a gentle one. I see a lot of people having it workout. If my Jardini does become a big threat, I will surely take it out of my tank.

Freshwater flounder are awesome!

Hillstream loaches prefer cooler temps with high water flow to thrive.

Unusual catfish are nice - but most are predatory.

Agree with ihsnshaik above, I have been keeping fish of all sorts for over 25 years, and my Rays are fast becoming the best fish I have ever kept.
