Well that makes sense what brand pumps do you recomend? And where can they be bought
 
I use a Danner Mag drive, they are good pumps. I bought mine at my local fish store, I paid about $20 more than I would have online, but I figured if it dies I don't have to ship or anything just bring it up to him. It was worth the extra $20 for me.
 
Ok good to go I will lokk into a good 1200gph pump and if will get another one if need be I will see how it goes at first but I'm not getting the ray at first
 
Interesting build. I'm cheering for the home team, in that I am certain that the construction method is sufficient. Basically it gets its strength the same way that an I beam is stronger than a solid bar (of the same mass).

Anyway, can't wait for more pictures.

Wow those danner pumps are expensive but must be worth it ill get the 950gph to start with then add another 500 to 1000gph later on
 
They aren't too expensive but a 1250gph is 150+shipping
 
Ya I was just looking at utillity pumps at lowes and a 1800gph was bout 100 but I've heard good things about danner pumps its just been about a year sense I've messed with tanks at all so I'm trying to remember this stuff
