I think we can all drop the torches and leave the funny comments out. As stated before, feel free to post your thoughts and comments in relation to the original post, but let's leave it at that.

The overwhelming consensus is that this is wrong. Personal opinion aside, the "public" opinion on this the largest fish keeping community on the internet says that this practice is wrong.

There really is no argument one could make to change peoples opinions on this matter and to try just furthers the appearance of ignorance and immaturity.

Good people, good knowledgeable people pour hours of their time and energy into educating new and inexperienced fish keepers on this site and by doing so give the entire community credibility.

Then there are people like this OP. There are many people struggling with stocking choices, tank sizes and maintenance routines. We really didn't need to add this aspect of confusion for the inexperienced.

If this was doable, it would have been done. If it was at all possible it would have happened years ago. If there was any way to make this happen it would be common practice by now. I vote that backwards, sadistic and quite frankly dangerous experiments with living creatures be kept to yourself.

PS

By dangerous I'm talking about the dozens of threads that could potentially pop up of eager new fish keepers asking advice and for answers as to why this type of stocking isn't working for them. Dangerous because it could put into question the credibility of this massive pool of knowledge.

If a single salt water fish dies in freshwater due to an experiment inspired by these pictures it wasn't worth it.

LOL man over night the thread became quite something....haha just trying out a new product to see how it worked, i didnt beleive it at first, saw this quite awhile back in Singapore and I thought it could never be done or even if it was possible but from the looks of it, seems to work. Finally had some time to play around with the stuff, still have no idea how it works though.
