I know conservation and regulation takes money. In regions where human populations are struggling to survive this is a low priority and not possible.

Letting people kill a selected animal is one of the best sources of the revenue that's needed to protect them. I get it.

Yeah, I shot a hippo! :);)

I have nothing against hunting, but those pictures are kind of ridiculous....

Agreed and speaking of ridiculous how about that one photo at the bottom of the group where she is seen brandishing what looks like a rifle that is chambered for .22?..Somehow I don't see her taking down any of those beasts with such a firearm.

Pretty certain that's just a photo-opt picture of "look how cute, yet bad-*** I am." No single AR type rifle is going to take down a hippo, elephant or cape buffalo.

I support that 1 the money that goes to conservation 2 the select specimens chosen to be hunted have the capability to be detrimental to the population.

But besides that she kind of gives me the creeps a little haha; that's just me though lol

How can you all be certain that the money the hunters pay goes toward conservation?...Most of the governments over there are run by corrupt individuals. They can't even take care of their citizens but I'm supposed to believe that they allocate funds for conservation?....Privately owned hunting parks is something else alltogether.

Because if they run out of animals (supply) there will be no more people paying exorbitant amounts to hunt them (demand). There fore in the best interests of greed- even the most corrupt will have a vested interest in keeping the populations alive.

Hello; While many of that style of "black rifle" are chambered in .223, I believe they can be chambered in more powerful calibers. 308 for instance and likely other powerful rounds. Even a .223 is a potent round for that matter but not likely a proper choice for big game.

I'm well aware of all of that but I was only referring to the rifle that hunter girl is seen posing with....as it relates here,it is a varmint gun at best.

Yes, nature is brutal

However, nature does not = GUNS SHOOTING ENDANGERED ANIMALS

If anything, GUNS SHOOTING ENDANGERED ANIMALS is as UNNATURAL as UNNATURAL GETS.
..........

i agree.......... and every animal has a right to life...there is a secluded place near me... many thousands of acres....... they import these animals from africa... just so someone can shoot them...... the animal is secured in a small area...so you cannot miss....... it is all about money..... and it is wrong.....selfish act......these photos of this girl was probably in a place like this..not africa.. not a big game hunter.. but just simply a exhibitonist........calling attention to themself at the cost of a life.

Pix are ridiculous.

I only hunt boars.

I find no excuse, for myself, to kill any otehr species. Imunderstand selected culling as resource management, but i would not do it.

And, again, pix are ridiculous.
