well, nobody really knows what happened. i am just giving my opinion. but american news totally ignores all the war crimes committed by the
new ukrainian government. so it would not surprise me if there is a lot more to this story than accidental shooting down.

ps. but the truth is that russian is not at war with ukraine. it is the new ukrainian government that is at war with its own people.
i guess most people get confused because in English language there is no distinction between a word for ethinic russian and russian (as in citizen of russian federation). and russian or russian speakers make up about 60% of ukraine.

I be leave it was a accident per say, mostly do to a high teq wep put in the hands of low teq folks that only knew how to make it target and launch. I also be leave this was supplied to them by Russia. and returned to Russia.

there are atrocity,s committed in allot more places than Ukraine. Africa comes to mind. Syria, lots of places. and if these folks keep there crap to them selves then will be largely ignored. just news blips while i eat my corn flakes before work.

the current goverments in kiev is using neo-nazi's to suppress anyone who is againsts them. yes, i know it sounds crazy. but it is true.
the whole maidan area was littered with ultra-rightwing graffiti (celtic crosses, 88, wolf's hook). you can see plenty of pictures of that online.

the very first thing the new people did was banning russian language, while their supportes proceeded to demolish old soviet monuments and memorials to ww2 veterals.

people up east in Donetsk and in Craimia did want to put up with this. there was a referendum in both areas where most people voted to declare themselves a separate country.
craimia was than taken in by russia. donets area on other hand is being bombed by the federal army.

As much as I do not like the current administration, I do not think this is a conspiracy on this.

The most obvious explanation is some over zealous rebel thought he was bringing down another military transport.

There will not be war declared over this, but I suspect there will be a lot of flak similar to the aftermath of downing the Iranian airline by the US navy.

Pretty ignorant. You do know they would be able to tell it was a commercial airline? Also Russia shot down a Korea airline in the past. Why did you fail to bring that up? The US incident happened while they were under attack by 6 Iranian war boats. The shoot down was accidental as the plane was flying above during the attack. Someone did get in trouble for it and the US paid out millions in compensation. What did Russia do for the Korean airliner? This isn't the only plane shot down in the region recently either. But great way of showing your ignorance and anti-americanism.

So Ukraine shoots down a plane and you bring up Russia? The one thing everyone including the media seem to agree on is that rebels from Ukraine shot down the plane and most seem to think it wasn't intentional (further proven by it being the only commercial plane shot down). The weapons and training most likely supplied by Russian military.

If the US goes and supplies the Ukraine government with military support through funding, weapons and training to fight the rebels/separatist , will you take blame if they mistakenly kill civilians in the area? or will you be "HECK YEAH MURICA!!!"?

A target....depending on who is operating the weapon.Ive recently heard that civilian and military aircraft don't fly at the same heights.I'm wondering what the authorities there intend to do with the bodies and the belongings of the dead passengers.

cargo planes carry troops, so i guess they are legitimate target. the media is ignoring a fact that the junta (the new ukrainian government) have been using
airforce to bomb major cities in eastern ukraine. while i am sure russia, does help some. it is mostly a ukrainian civil war.

the government in kiev is the one that is going to benefit from this tragedy. they have been loosing the war against eastern militias (not pro-russian rebels).
now they'll have an excuse to step up the bombing campaigh and igore all the dead civilians.
so i wouldn't be surprised if they shot the plane down in order to frame the militias. that's my theory. i am ukrainian, and i know for a fact that
the people in power now are ruthless thugs.
