Another plywood build ( 400 gallon +)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Do you happen to have a link to the plans you used for the stand? I am in the R&D phase of a build and I plan on doing a 66" L X 36" W X 30" H and I would like to have as much room under it as possible while still having more than adequate support, any ideas?

I didn’t design it based off of any specific plans but it’s a fairly common method that lots of people have used for awhile more or less Not an engineer so can’t give you specifics on its structural integrity but I’m confident with the design Mines 30” tall for reference.

It’s been a couple days now. But wanted to make sure everyone was acclimating alright. It took all day saturday but we got it done. Moved the 300 completely out to my shop. Swapped out sumps. Replumbed everything and connected the drain and the drip system. Couple of bumps here and there but nothing to bad. And oh yea my arrow jumped out of the the 300 gallon Rubbermaid maid and onto my floor. I heard it and got him back in within a few seconds but still. Swam funny for the first night but seems to be getting back to normal now. We’ll see. Of course it was right before I was about to transfer them back. Anyways some pics Really happy with how the lids came out. And if anyone’s curious hydor wavemakers do work through 3/4” plywood lol.
