  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice looking build. Did you sand down your seams after you fiberglassed them to get a more smooth finish? I'm going to lay fiberglass cloth tomorrow with Pond Armor all along the bottom plywood base of my tank build, and I'm curious if it turns out smooth.

Thanks man. Yea well i sanded between all my pond armor coats but I tried to get it as smooth as possible before I started painting too.

Mann. She finally looks like a tank. Would probaly take me half the time if I had to do it again but that’s the way it goes lol Still have a week of messing around , plumbing and staining the outside but that’s not very labor intensive work. Than gotta plan out the day I switch out tanks , now that will be extremely labor intensive and not looking forward to that lol.

Well decided to use the rest of my pond armor on the outside of the tank instead of staining it. Doesn’t look as good imo but it will be more functional and also being in my garage with help protect the structure from any humidity and moisture that could swell the wood over time. Will be Installing the bulkheads and a little plumbing Tommorrow to leak Test it
