Well she held up last night and I slowly filled her up this morning. Didn’t make any creaking noises or anything. All the bulkheads were good to go too , that was what I figured would leak if anything lol Gonna let it sit full today and drain tommorrow. Still gotta figure out when I’m gonna switch out tanks and where to grab a tub to keep the rays in for a few hours while that happens too. But all in all pretty stoked.

I know you said you didn't like the pond armor on the exterior all that much, but from what I can tell from the pics I think the pond armor on the exterior actually gives it a really nice clean look :) Defiantly one of the cleaner plywood tank builds I've seen in a long time.
Thanks man ! Yea it’s starting to grow on me. Just thought it would be cool to still be able to see the wood grain on the tank but I’ll get over it

Quick little plumbing update. Got all the returns and drains plumbed in and as much as piping as I could before I move it into its permanent place. Drains are 1.5”. Returns are 1” going through 3/4” loc line nozzles . It’s a pretty simple straight forward design. Nothing fancy and it being in my garage noise isn’t much of a concern either. I do have one dilemma if you would call it that and that is which pumps to use. I originally bought 2 2400 laguna max flos but found a deal on 2 Danner mag 2400s on Craigslist at a price i couldn’t refuse. 100 bucks a piece and pretty much brand new. Leaning towards the Lagunas unless I can be persuaded otherwise. Oh the tank and fish swap will be happening this Saturday. Got the team lined up and a 300 gallon Rubbermaid tub all ready for the transfer. Included a pic of the laguna max flo adapters I put together to run pvc on them too.
