Masterb, what other issues? You didnt answer. DC charge? Wont hold up. Brandishing? Again, wont hold a candle in court. Plus that charge doesnt even exist in my state. People get offended by everything nowadays. Add in most people dont notice makes that point moot. So what other issues are there? The two you listed to me are moot.
Google it, you will find your answer. I'm just giving you my opinion. I didnt say specifically to your state, those were just examples because some states do have those laws.
You are correct, people do get offended by the slightest thing.
In the end, we can carry open or concealed which is great, except for one or two states, such as Illinois.
What I dont understand is, why dont you think someone shouldnt properly be trained to OC or CC? I'm curious.
I might come off as a hypocrite but I wouldn't be opposed to some level of instruction along with our permit process but on the other hand,I'm glad we don't have to jump through the hoops that they have to in New Jersey...As for OC,I don't see the big deal with it really.When I see someone with an exposed and holstered weapon the first thing that comes to mind is that they are most likely in some form of law enforcement.Not so with others obviously.Some might have heard about the recent story of a correctional officer who got into a bit of trouble with the police here when his weapon was seen by someone who reacted by calling the police.
Thats the main reason why I dont OC, even thou its legal, its not worth the possible hassel I may receive. Yea NJ CC process is like is trying to lease a TV from Aarons Rent To Own
LOL.Aarons.....That c/o is actually a co worker of mine.I have not been in touch with him since the incident and I'm not sure if he openly carried his weapon or if some suspicious looking bulge was noticed by someone.

This past weekend I had a bad migraine and thought it would be interesting to see how I would shoot at 10 yards with my .45 shooting at a .22 target. I didnt do too bad with no laser. The last two rounds we ran out of time so I let them fly.
The first photo is with a laser @10 yards
The second is without a laser @10 yards
Third photo is where I put my gun when I drive, its under the steering column, fast and easy access.
Fourth photo was @10 yards having a comp with my brother, was mixed between laser and no laser.
Fifth photo is my baby, I had her sent off about a month ago to apply a waterproof coating and fix the front sight, I should have it Friday.
Sixth photo is when I'm feeling pretty good @10 yards with no laser.
Seventh photo is my temp carry gun till I get my Covert back Friday, both are Kimbers.
Last photo was this past weekend with my migraine.
I shoot every weekend atleast 50 rounds and as much as 200, practice, practice, practice.

U said google it, because you cant back up your arguement. You have some harrassment that frankly is rare. You have nothing else.
It should be up to that person to train themselves. Never the gov. You already mentioned one example of a permit gone ary. Need I say more?
I don't think you’re asking me specifically but my answer would be: I agree everyone should be properly trained. I just don’t want someone else telling me if I’m properly trained or not. If you’re a responsible adult you should be able to carry a gun to defend yourself. Why give the bad guys an advantage? They don’t have background checks or rules to follow. As soon as you allow the government to set a standard then they control you. I’m fine, I don’t need to be controlled. Of course we need laws and rules, speed limits and so on. But something as important as defending your life shouldn’t be restricted even a little. Of course this is just my opinion and I live in a state that agrees with this, or, I would just carry illegally, I guess. I would hate to get shot because I was the dork that didn’t bring a gun to a gun fight, first rule. For those of you that say “don’t go to a gun fight then” well, I hope that works for you and your loved ones.
