I haven't seen or heard of this movie but I will check it out. Lau Kar Leung is a deifinate hero of mine. At first I kind of didn't realize how much he was involved in some of my favorite movies. He starred in, directed, choreographed the fights, was the fight instructer, all at the same time. He's led a really interesting life. I saw Dunken Monkey not too long ago, and he's still awesome at 67!
I don't know any of the actors, but it has a great story line (i find some some kung fu movies have really corny stories) and great action. Here's the IMDB link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1425257/
I have no idea about my pic, I just stumbled across it. Wandy and Fedor are some of my all time favorite fighters. I'm a hand inspector (part of the athletic comission) for pro/amateur boxing, mma, kick boxing, muay thai, etc. I am a huge combat sports fan.

i'm a fan of wand and an even bigger fan of fedor. mma is my #1 sport. there's no other sport that i've ever followed as closely as i have with mma.
I've met a few fighters, but the only one that I was actually star struck on was Cro Cop. He's the reason that I started kickboxing when I was young. I got a pic with him and I look so stupid 'cause I was nervous haha. It's funny how some of these guys half my size could probably whoop me haha. Tyson Griffin was tiny. Cro Cop is one of the few big name fighters I met that was the same size as me.
Not yet but I have a letter that came in the mail from them touting a free trial offer so I will be trying it out.
that's awesome. i got to meet and take pics with Mark Hunt and Babalu. Hunt is huge. not so tall but huge head and massive body. got autograph from vitor belfort and phil baroni. i would love to meet crocop among many other former pride fighters
did you used to have it and canceled? if you've never had it, do it man, you won't regret it. after talking to jose about it for a while, i decided to jump on. currently on the 30 day free trial right now and i love it. i'm doing the streaming only. my first time ever on netflix and i regret not doing it years ago. 8 bucks is nothing as my family has already watched over 40 movies and shows. the dvd deal aint' worth it but the streaming is without a doubt. first two movies i saw was ip man 1 and 2 back to back that night, haha
i did a little reading on True Legend and i'm more interested in this movie now. it did really poor at the theaters but that may be due to the cast. which the cast isn't bad, they are just not huge superstars like jet and donnie
the main guy is played by vincent zhao, who replaced jet li in OUATIC 4 and 5 as the lead role. this guy is good and i really wanna see how he does at his age.
also, to the gordon liu fans, gordon is in this movie as well but i'm not sure how big the role is or if he does any fighting
Over the weekend I saw Return to the 36th Chamber and also Heros of the East. Both great movies. Heros of the East had an interview with Gordon Liu on it, and in the interview Gordon Liu says his kungfu didn't peak untill the early to mid eighties. I am watching his movies in chronological order ther best I can, and I can see him getting better with every movie, so I'm guessing there are more great movies to come. There was also a little talk of Jet Li and a few Jet Li clips. Sumo, I know you're a huge Jet li fan, what is YOUR fav Jet Li movie? The clips shown were from Shaolin Temple and it looked good, It's crazy to see Jet so young, he was like 18 when he made that film right?
