Aquariums and your electricity bill??

You guys are lucky Im paying $300 a month for my eletrcity bill Im single and live in a 3 bedroom house with my the tanks in my sig. And I cant figure out why its so high. I think its my house heater and water heater since they are so old but still i think they are gettting over on me somehow. Id love to go solar but the upfront cost is too much and its usually foggy out here so i really dont see the benefit
The thing that gets me is my budddy lives in a house with his brother heater always going power tools big tvs and stereos and they have a gaming room and hes paying 100-150 at the very most. And they spend all day at home im just home for like 3-4 hours at the most each day if Im lucky. And I still end up paying more could it be possible that someone has tapped into my outlets and Im paying for it

Power for me is dirt cheap. With no aquariums, my bill is usually 29.00-32.00 per month. With all 9 of my tanks running, my power bill has only been about 38.00/month. Then with the A/C running, goes to maybe 45.00. Same with my water/sewer/garbage bill. It normally ran me 102.00 every other month, and now with water changes on all my tanks, it's only about 122.00-125.00 every 2 months.

Ours is usually $100-$120. It's more during the summer months because we have window air conditioning units. Most appliances in our house are gas.
with no tanks my bill was like $130.With a 55, two 29's and a 10 my bill went up to about $180.With those taken down and replaced with a 250 my bill averages $150-$160.........
