I'd recommend netting during a major water change, less swimming space easier to net, probably won't hit the decks even if jumping.
@dbjunkie after relocating to china bro, my hobbyist friends have shown me endless amounts of fish fatalities.. I'm talking about prized meter long beasts that is shocking... They are desensitized to it. It's part of the hobby. A friend had a power outage in his warehouse that even with back up generator for filtration still up, the AC was dead and the heaters weren't able to keep the water above 20 degrees(during the past winter) and he ended up with 200k in lost inventory of fish. That guy ended up closing up shop and is only keeping a few large tanks at home now. Another guy was treating a swimming pool size tank with medication and it ended up wiping out the entire stock due to misdosage. He was sad as hell but got over it quickly. I need to find some of the picture images of these losses, you guys would be gutted to see what kind of stock that past away. IE a meter diameter disk of a tiger ray. If I didn't see the image, I wouldn't have believe that there was such a large captive tiger ray. (I have one and it's such a pain in the ass picky eater)
Best of luck on the move and keep us all posted buddy!
