Yes I would do WC, ur nitrate is way too high..
If I were u I would replace that reef-sun light..out intensity is way too much for aro
WC about 25% 3 times a week untill nitrate down, u could slack once its constant normal..like 5-10ppm
Treat the tank with aquarium salt, kitchen salt works too but I noticed the aro responds better with aquarium salt and they r cheaper than kitchen salt while bumping ur temp to 88F(the number I keep when medicating), how I come up with that number? I grew up at the earth equator LOL
Do not treat it too long..I would say 2 weeks most and do not over dose with salt, we keep FW for crying outloud LOL
If you get a "better" response from your aro when you're not using kitchen salt, the clearly the kitchen salt DOESN'T WORK :duh: Man, you have NO idea what you're talking about, stop messing the guy up...

i suggest u re-read what u quoted on me, it does work but the aquarium salt works better, hence my aro responds better to the aquarium salt

Yea, I just did. If you cant tell the difference between salt used for treatment, and salt you used to make saltwater, you shouldn't even be giving advice on using salt...

an update. aro is doing alot better! hes back to his old self again eating and swimming and no more "mold"! got the ammonia down to 0ppm. nitrate is still kinda high so i will coutinue to do 25% water changes 2-3 times a week till that comes down. could i add some prime to the water to help lower the nitrate?
